OUCH!!!!
Today Barb went to work early, & Jason went for what was supposed to be a short ride with his friend Dennis. At 9:00 Jason called Barb to tell her that he had been in a small accident with his motorcycle. He was alright, aside from some road rash on his left arm. Luckliy he is doing fine. There was some damage to the bike, but nothing that can't be fixed easily.

Hot Air Jubilee
Today we went to the Jackson Hot Air Jubilee. Unfortunately, due to windy weather they were unable to launch baloons. They were however, able to do the night glow with the baloons. It was very interesting to see how the baloons are inflated, and to see them glow after the sun goes down. But there were lots of other activities to enjoy. There were WWII bomber airplanes on display & they did a show in the air as well. The kids really enjoyed the bounce houses. Here are some pictures from the day....

Happy 4th of July!
This long independence day weekend has been filled with activites for us. Friday night Jason & Barb went riding with some friends and ended up riding around Jackson with a group of about 20 motorcyclists. We rode to the fireworks as a group. It was an incredible feeling with everyone stopping & pointing, to watch you ride out as a group.

Saturday we went to Barbs parents house for dinner & picked up the kids on the way home. When we got home Jazzmyn asked if we could all ride our bikes to Ella Sharp park, so we decided it sounded like fun & off we went. On the way there Jayden said "Hey look at that deer!"
After stopping for the picture we started riding again, and got pretty close before the deer decided to run back into the woods. We carried on the the park to play for awhile before we couldnt take getting eaten alive by the mosquitos (even though we all had bug spray on!)

When we got home and after dark we lit off some fireworks & played with sparklers to celebrate our independence....

Play with me!
Sadie loves to play with toys. Tonight she decided Jason needed to play with her. She plays the game of bringing you the ball & setting it next to you, but as you grab for it she snatches it & runs away. Not realizing he was napping she decided Jay needed to play with her....
As soon as the picture was snapped she jumped at the ball, startling Jason & causing hysterical laughing by everyone else watching!!

Welcome Home Roxanne!
Today was a joyus day for us. On Friday morning Barb took Roxanne (our Rotweiller) to the vet because she had been having accidents in the house for abour 2 weeks. This is very unusual for her and we were starting to become concerned. The vet wanted to run some tests to see what exactly was wrong, so they kept her & said we could come back to pick her up in the afternoon. When we called to see if she was ready to be picked up we were told the vet wanted to speak with us and she would call back shortly. When she called back, she said that Roxanne has pancreatitis, and needed to stay for the weekend to get IV fluids and medication to help her get better. All weekend we worried abour her, and got updates from the vet. We went today to pick her up (after waiting for an hour, & an outrageous vet bill) and she is now on medication for a bladder infection as well as a low fat diet to keep the inflamation down in her pancreas. Since she didnt really show any signs to begin with we think she was just in the beginning stages of pancreatitis, luckily we caught it early. Here is a picture of her, happy to be home after a long weekend....notice her shaved right leg from the IV's (yes multiple) she had...
